I have been playing Starcraft 2 since its release date last summer. Knowing that Starcraft 2 was going to be a competitive online game I wanted to have an edge over the competition. So before the release date I read up on some basics tips and strategies.

Enter Shokz Strategy Guide

Then I found Shokz Starcraft 2 Guide made by Shokz who is a top 200 player and plays as random. I thought it was awesome that a player with these kinds of stats was willing to share his secrets.

But I also thought it was kind of ridiculous that he was charging almost $40 for a gaming strategy guide. But it did have a 60 day money back guarantee so I figured why not.

I did not know a thing about Starcraft 2 except from what I remembered from Starcraft 1. But as I read through the strategies inside Shokz Starcraft 2 Guide I was blown away by how detailed it was.

Not only does his strategy guide include a full blown video guide through the campaign mode it goes past the actual strategies used in Starcraft 2. It covers the basic strategies like the Zerg 6 Pool rush and the Terran 3 Rax build.

Then it gets into the mechanics of the game. It goes in-depth on how to dramatically increase your speed known as Actions Per Minute (apm). This is crucial to become a very good Starcraft player and keep up with the real good players.

Not only should you be playing faster in Starcraft 2 you should be playing very smart which is exactly what I learned with Shokz Starcraft 2 Guide. Beating players is as simple as scouting them to see what strategy they are going for and then knowing what strategy to counter it with.

Even after months of playing went by and players really started to grasp the game I was still owning it up and ranking upper diamond on each ladder. I love Shokz Starcraft 2 Guide because it goes past the actual strategies and build orders and rather teaches you how to really own at Starcraft 2 with proper macro and micro.

To beat your opponents you need to keep an eye on them and adapt to their play style. For example if they are expanding early you need to beat them by sending your army in before they surpass you with their economy.

Having this kind of knowledge is key to winning. Shokz Starcraft 2 Guide is full of it. That and plenty of practice will make you a much better Starcraft 2 player.

The only thing I do not like about Shokz Guide is that he only has video demonstrations for the campaign mode and not for multiplayer games.

He updates his guide frequently so maybe he will start making video strategies in the near future.
