Hi there, my name is Pete (aka Dizzy) and welcome to my blog dedicated to helping newbies better their skills at Starcraft 2. I started playing Starcraft 2 right when it was released on July 27, 2010. (Real fans remember the launch date. lol).
After beating the campaign mode I decided to get right into the ranked matches which was very interesting to me since I never played competitive online games like World of Warcraft. I was a big fan of the first Starcraft which is what prompted me to get the second one. And it certainly did not fail to disappoint.
I also wanted to be really good at the game so I searched online for some tips and strategies. Then I found Shokz Guide which was a very quality guide as it helped me rank top Diamond in 1v1.
It is all about playing smarter rather than harder. The game tests your speed, strategy, and your timing. If you are just starting out then the absolute best advice I can give you is to learn and master the basics of Starcraft 2. You have to master the controls and macro in order to have a solid foundation of play.
